I will stamp all over 'legitimate combatant' Paul - Anthony Joshua
Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight round match which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "overpower" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.
Ex two-time unified title holder Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive disparity - at Miami's arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I plan to damage his features and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to seriously aim to injure him. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
In spite of such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically famous for his dramatics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead targeted former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.
"[Paul] outshines Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he stated.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
However, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, frequently receiving huge financial rewards.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a knockout win in round four or five and stated he would prevent the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly in the works for 2026.
"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
